as a result of my carelessness *ahem*, i had to go to school super early for last min (n when i say last min, it really is last min) cramming... N i FINISHED studying (or rather, just reading through) NINE pages in 45 mins!! for the last quiz, i spent like 2-3 hrs for SEVEN pgs!! hey hey, i noe it seems pretty short but the words r like, minute n well, it's so boring dat my mind kept wandering off...hehe... anyway, so proud of myself.. *beams* well, this goes to show dat u can accomplish anything if u set ur mind to it...

oh n then during hist, ms chua announced dat... *drum roll* history test is cancelled!! i dunno if i should b happy or not.. i mean, i really wanted to noe how i'd hav done n well, i did wasted a lot of hard work on it... *sigh* but it's a good thing too, cos she decided to cancel retests n if i did really badly for dat test, well, id hav a bad grade on my ca... now i hav the chance to er, study properly n hopefully do well...

oh yah!!! n then she said the 1st two quizzes isnt counted!!! n i susah-payah i sat for the retest n got full marks!!! arrrgghhh!! n i studied really really hard for my 2nd quiz!!! #&^%$*^!

oh oh, yesterday, when i returned to class after recess, mrs chen wanted to speak to me.. gosh, i was so scared loh.. i tot she wanted to question my absence at swim heats (to my *ahem ahem* loyal readers, u will noe wat im talking about) n i was like, oh no! can i hide?! anyway, her 1st question threw me off guard - "where were u sitting last thurs?" immediately i gave a huge sigh of relief. turns out she just wanted to investigate the case of our missing history papers..

gosh. brilliant li-mae struck again.. 2 times today!! brilliant li-mae had a math quiz today (which she TOTALLY wasnt expecting as it was supposed to be on fri n wasnt prepared for it)... anyway, during the math quiz, brilliant brilliant me assumed dat there's only 1 pg.. while the others were rushing up to finish their quizzes, i sat there checking n re-checking my work, wondering y every1 was taking such a long time.. anyway, tessa asked if she could go to the toilet n mrs lim asked if she's finished her quiz yet n tessa replied yes, so i tot, okay loh, im not the only one who's finished.. anyway, when there's only TWO mins left,zab suddenly started panicking. mrs lim went over to her n said, "u mean u didnt c it?" at dat point in time, i realised sumthing was wrong but i was too busy doing another question so i didnt hav time to c wat it was about. at the very last second, i flipped over the paper n to my horror, i saw YET ANOTHER QUESTION!!! argh!! obviously i didnt hav time to DO dat question!! *sob sob* im definitely going to fail dat paper since that very last qn is worth half the marks of the paper... the ONLY way i can pass dat paper is if i get full markss for the 1st pg(which im sure i wont) &*%$*&amp;^#)@& GRRRRR!!! so angry at myself! from now on, im going to CHECK to make sure ive done all the qns.. actually, dat's wat i usually do but somehow i forgot to today...plus, quizzes r usually one-paged n this looked llike one of those..

*ahem ahem* lemme begin wif my eventful trip to the polyclinic 1st... no wait, y am i going to the clinic again? oh yeah, cos i needed to get mc to get out of swimming heats tmr (which i stupidly signed up under much of yj's persuasion *shoots yj a dirty look*) anyway, NORMALLY i wouldnt mind swimming but u noe, came up n well, i DONT WANT to swim anymore! so gross! so anyway, back to the story, to get out of it, i hav to get an mc... oh ya, i almost forgot, since the stupid ppl at moe changed the policy of claiming medical fees, we now hav to go to a polyclinic during office hrs instead of private ones (which r much nearer) or else we cant claim our med fees la... SO, i hav to go to bt batok polyclinic which is foreign to me BY MYSELF because a CERTAIN somebody refused to go wif me...

luckily, i managed to get there without getting lost (wat a surprise!) n u noe wat? the polyclinic is like, so BLOODY HUGE lah...practically like a hospital... i was like, huh? huh? where m i supposed to go? after spending 5 mins just wandering about, i figured where i had to go *phew* n since it's the 1st time im there, i had to register... after registering, i had to wait for my turn for dr's consultation... when i got outside the room, it was nearly my no. so i waited. n waited. n waited. then the person came out AND the no. suddenly jumped from 2--- to 1---! apparently they dun go in order... @*#&%*!$*$ so i waited. n waited. n waited yet again... i got so bored of waiting dat i actually fell asleep. when i woke up - unbelievably - IT STILL WASNT MY TURN!!! gosh. now i noe how mr bean felt when he had to wait a ZILLION yrs for his turn... waited summore n i fell asleep!! again!!! n when i woke up, u noe wat? it's STILL NOT MY TURN!!! at dat point i was so so impatient cos i had to wait like, 1 n 1/2 hrs just to get ONE miserable mc!!! FINALLY after waiting for wat seemed like an eternity, , it's my turn... anyway, i bluffed the dr dat i had menstrual cramp (which i dun) n i was like, can i hav mc for tmr? n she said : actually, we dun give mcs for the nxt day but ill c wat i can do EXTREMELY happy dat i can finally go, i went downstairs (not knowing where i had to go again) n i saw this bunch of ppl waiting in sum kind of area n joined them... after sitting there for infinity yrs, i found out that i was in fact, waiting at the wrong place.. i had to go into the pharmacy (which i tot was a shop at 1st) n besides feeling like a total idiot, i HAD TO WAIT SUMMORE i tell u, i was so tempted to go rite up to them n demand for my mc but being the civilised person dat i am, i decided not to...

FINALLY im out of dat horrible place but then the main doors were already closed so i had to go out by sum kind of back way... OBVIOUSLY brilliant li-mae got out of the wrong side because the 1st bus stop she saw only had funny funny bus nos... n then brilliant li-mae decided to walk down to the nxt stop to check n kept walking n walking n walking in the scorching hot sun until she saw the nxt stop. when she got there - the BUS NOS WERE STILL WEIRD! so she decided to walk summore. n she did. n yet again, the bus nos were totally unfamiliar!!! ARGH!!! at this point in time, she decided to take a taxi back rather than die of heat stroke. GUESS WAT?!?! all the taxis were either busy or on call wat the hell. all of them seem to b mocking me.

hopelessly lost, she had no choice but to walk summore.so she walked. n walked. n walked. after another eternity n countless of bus stops, an unoccupied taxi came by!! about to faint wif exhaustion, she thankfully sank into the comfortable seat of the taxi - only to discover dat THE TAXI DRIVER DOESNT NOE HOW TO GET THERE!!! how am i supposed to noe the way back, IF the local taxi drivers themselves dont noe the way?!?! plus, the entire freaking place is like a gigantic, nv-ending maze!

gosh.n then i had to walk summore n guess where i ended up? at ST LUKE'S HOSPITAL!!! SHEESH. ready to explode, i FINALLY managed to flag an UNOCCUPIED taxi WHO NOES THE WAY!!! then brilliant li-mae turned her head n saw the bus stop wif bus 66,157 n 174!!! ARRRRGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! ^%*%&#(&^*%*@ however, brilliant li-mae decided not to risk getting lost again wif her disastrous sense of direction n wasted $8.90...

oh in the end, brilliant li-mae didnt get the mc she went through all the trouble for. i dun care, im not going to swim tmr, no matter wat!

NoOo!!! i was going to iron my clothes in the lounge when i happened to c some china girls watching a taiwanese show n being the kaypoh person dat i am, i watched also la... n GUESS WAT?!?!?! it's the files of junior bao!!! i've been wanting to watch this show for such a long long time, like 3 yrs, only i dunno where to rent it... anyway, the point is, THE SHOW IS IN MANDARIN!!! which means, they might as well b talking in gibberish cos i hav no idea wat they're saying!!!WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA... so so disappointing...i KNEW i shouldve learnt mandarin!!! nvm, i shall hunt for the canto version one n buy it!!! oh yah, my history teacher's sooo mean... we've got this history quiz thingy dat we're supposed to finish in 2 periods, or rather, 1 period each week for 2 weeks... anyway, all of us from a2 finished our quiz last week but left a few blanks (like, 2-3) anyway, she considered it as we've finished it n refused to let us continue it this week... instead, she gave us extra work to do since the others havent finished their work... anyway, it's supposed to b 25 mins for 1 essay qn but we spent 15 mins complaining so we only had 10 mins left to do it... obviously we had to plan our essays too, rite? which meant we only had 5 mins to do the entire essay which i did only 1 paragraph... haha... i think she'll let us continue it next lesson...oh n i actually wasted my time reading through the chap yesterday for my quiz... sheesh... being punished for finishing our work early...

my longest entry (yet)!

man....this has been a super LOOOOOONG week!

lemme start wif MY series of unfortunate events 1st (yes, yehica,even urs cannot beat mine..)
actually, it began last last mon, wif me having sore throat BEFORE CNY... as a result, i couldnt eat ANY cookies during cny!!! *sob sob* anyway, after dat, i got sick n had to extend my stay in KL (DAT wasnt bad) but the thing is, i left all my hw here!!! dat means i had to come back on sat instead of sun... :'( rite, n when i got back, the 1st thing i noticed was, my toilet light is spoiled!!! argh!!! so since sat UNTIL now i hav to bathe in the dark cos my toilet window's facing the corridor, not outside, so even if i take bath in the afternoon, there wouldnt be any diff.. sheesh... oh, dat's not all, i found out dat we hav THREE tests n TWO quizzes this week! mon - history quiz retest, tues - add math, eng mock exam, wed - physics, thurs - history quiz... MON - THURS leh!!! so ive been deprived of sleep for the past few days due to last min cramming for tests n doing hw... oh oh, the worst day of all was yesterday!!! 1st, i had add math test, WHICH I FORGOT TO DO 1 Q until i saw it at the last min! then, (the next few events happened within 1/2 hr btw) i broke ALL my test tubes except ONE, got booked for buffed nails @*%^#$*&!!! (in my defense, this was done during the hols n how the hell was i supposed to noe there's such a thing as un-buffing nails?!?!) curse lah oh n RIGHT after dat, i had eng mock exam! AARRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! there. feels good to let off all those steam bottled up in me.

hooray!!! it is now officially - 0001 am, 8th Feb 2005!! meaning, im SEVENTEEN! woohooo! how great is dat? PLUS it's on cny eve, which makes it doubly great AND i get to celebrate it at home for the 1st time in 3 yrs!! actually i like my bday (not to be perasan or anything)... in 2003, chingay was on my bday, last yr, it was the day after OBS n now, CNY EVE!! whee... oh n in 1997, it was on 2nd day of cny! WHY WHY not on cny itself?!?! nvm, i shall b patient... it's bound to fall on my bday one day! hehehe *thinking double ang paus $_$* hahaha so greedy...

today was damn hectic man... (actually yesterday by now) krissy smsed me at 0115 to ask me when im coming back n also y im not asleep yet... stupid siao char boh... u woke me up la... hahaha...

THEN i had a history test at sch, rushed back to hostel to pack my things n rushed off to airport.. it's like, rush day or sumthing... haha.. went back home this evening, immediately rushed out to meet my frens (before every1 balik kampung) to CELEBRATE at secret recipe!! hehe.. had a really yummy brownie n since secret recipe closes at 2200, we migrated over to get a drink at the mamak stall!! ahaha... then rushed back home to blog about it!! :D exhausted now... i think im gonna sleep like, Zzz... huh? wat happened?

SO SO touching!!! cried dunno like,( a ZILLION times maybe?) in the show.... hahahaha... i noe it's like super old but sumhow i'd never gotten around to watching it... like titanic. hahaha it's a MUST MUST MUST watch so u ppl out there who havent watched it yet, DO IT NOW!!! hahaha..

fun fun day

whee! sch today is SO SO FUN!!! i noe, it doesnt sound rite, but it's TRUE!! well, before recess, everything was SoOo boring... but after dat it was FUN FUN FUN all the way!! we had bio lab immediately after recess n we got to... *drum roll* ...cut an eyeball!!!! hahaha... thanx to lydia for giving it to us or else we had to watch mrs cheong do a demonstration.. :/

after bio lab, we went to katong and sum asian culture museum thingy for sum heritage tour thingy... haha.. and we tooks LOADS of pics which im gonna upload soon when poots sends me the pics... hehe

oh n then we went to KAP to c nikolas (the guy who's working in video ezy)!! haha n borrow some vcds... unfortunately, he wasnt there... oh well... not like we wanted to c him so badly... just wanna laugh at his "nice" hairstyle... i noe.. we r SO mean!! *evil laughter*

horrible horrible day

ugh... today's such a horrible day... we started of the morning wif spotcheck, followed by an add math quiz which i did VERY badly, then we got back our malay summary which i did quite badly too n a history test n finally (hopefully it's the last) i found out dat i was the ONLY sec 4 (in my batch dat is) dat didnt make it for syf.. even though i expected it, it's still quite disappointing to find out... especially today of all days... AAAAARRRRGGGHHHHHH *scream*

so so frustrating man... my results are like, all borderline loh... dunno wat's wrong wif me... it's not like i didnt study... I DID n really really hard too!! it's just dat when i get the paper, i sort of get this mental block...

it's just so unfair... sometimes u study and study AND study, u still dun get it n get terrible results whereas sum ppl hardly need to study at all n they noe it like the back of their hands n score full marks (i dun even need to mention who, whoever's in my class SHOULD noe)...n i was aiming for straight A's for O' Levels too so dat i can get a scholarship to go to Taylor's (my dream college since er... fm2) obviously dat's one dream dat wont come true...

gotta study harder from now on... *glumly*
